PREGNANCIES MARK MILESTONE FOR CORONA INSTITUTE FOR
REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE & FERTILITY (CIRMF) Inland Empire’s Newest Fertility Center To Welcome New Bundles of Joy in 2007
CORONA, Calif. –September 21, 2006 – After opening its doors in February 2006, the work of Corona Institute of Reproductive Medicine & Fertility (CIRMF) is quickly coming to fruition. Three Inland Empire patients have achieved their first pregnancy via in-vitro fertilization (IVF) plus two additional through IUI, a type of artificial insemination.
The patients approached CIRMF to begin their consultations in early Spring and after an initial medical history review and examinations underwent their IVF cycles or respective treatments in the Summer. The earliest delivery is expected in April, with the remaining following in May.
“Making the call to a patient to share the good news ‘You’re pregnant’ is a great payoff of the job, second only to receiving their birth announcement and smiling photo,” said Dr. Paul Magarelli, co-founder of CIRMF. “When we opened our doors, we were anxious to start helping these couples achieve their dreams of parenthood – we couldn’t be more elated about these couples’ news.”
The Corona Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Fertility (CIRMF), is the Inland Empire’s newest and most comprehensive in-vitro fertilization (IVF) center and recently acquired the practice of San Antonio Fertility Center in Upland, Calif. The center serves the reproductive healthcare needs of the Inland Empire, one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation.
“The news of these milestone pregnancies is felt throughout the office and strengthens our resolve to help build one family at a time,” added Dr. Lawrence Werlin, co-founder of CIRMF. “We are delighted to be a part of these families’ lives and part of the Inland Empire community.”
CIRMF offers innovative assisted reproductive treatments such as preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) which increases pregnancy success by screening for chromosomal abnormalities and genetic diseases, the use of acupuncture with in-vitro fertilization and affordable pricing plans. Drs. Werlin and Magarelli bring more than 40 years experience in successfully building families to CIRMF. Both are seasoned practitioners and published researchers who are integral members of GENESIS Network for Reproductive Health, a think tank of independent fertility specialists and academic researchers from across the nation.
CIRMF features a state-of-the-art onsite laboratory and offers general fertility diagnosis and treatments such as artificial insemination, surrogacy and donor eggs, as well as advanced assisted reproductive treatments such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and embryo and egg cryopreservation (freezing) for individuals wishing to preserve their fertility due to disease or delayed parenthood.
